St. Patricks Day: Live Like There’s “No Tomorrow”

via  SpoilerTV

The first new, post-strike episode of How I Met Your Mother is called “No Tomorrow” and will air at 8:30pm on Monday March 17th on CBS. The episode features Ted and Barney partying for St. Patrick’s Day and may see Ted on the business end of a fist. Vanessa Minnillo guest stars (which kind of aggravates me, but we’ll see how she does.)

Promotional photos from the episode. Vanessa looks hot, Ted looks drunk, Barney looks like a leprechaun:

Episode looks awesome, title is intriguing. I cannot wait

wait, they’re coming back with a timely St. Patty’s day episode.

does that mean that they were gonna do standalone episodes up until this one? Or was this episode planned from the start? And if it was, how did they manage to fix up the storylines to mesh well?

Imagine if you had cut three episodes out of season one, or season two. Would it have worked as well?

@john d’arc I see what you mean. I think that they probably have some outlines for the season like “Ted and Barney party, Ted learns a lesson” and with the strike ended, they found that St. Patty’s Day would be a good way to work that in. Just because they weren’t writing during the strike doesn’t mean they weren’t thinking about writing…

Also, I’m not sure about losing three eps. I’m glad we have more, but can we spare three? I think so. I bet they can shove some extra legendary into what remains so that we don’t fell the hit.

Is it just me or is Ted wearing the same shirt in this ep that he wore out with barney and Mandy Moore in the premiere. That plaid looks familiar….

Anyway can’t wait for the new ep!

uuuhh… too much pics xD I dislike spoilers haha but no problemo dude.

    TV GUIDE has post this

Sources are confirming to me exclusively that the lovely and talented Alicia Silverstone has been cast in a multi-episode arc.

Her character, a doctor, will be a love interest for Ted and she’ll be sticking around for several episodes.

HIMYM has yet to be renewed for a fourth season and producers have promised that we’ll meet Mother before the show concludes.

Even if HIMYM does come back next season — and, let’s be real, CBS would be insane to cancel it — where is it written that Mother has to be introduced at the very end of the series?
    =
    Alicia’s the mommy!

Are you guys getting the same thing?’

AFTER THIS, say she is STELLA [the doctor we never saw on 3.11], so what i said on Dcember 12 on this blog

‘That ‘AT LEAST FOR NOW’ was a totally open door for the mother. Besides, STELLA? I think Future Ted might be changing the real name so the kids don’t realize that ‘STELLA’ is their mother.’

    …would be true XD

Bar looks the same as the set from the gay bar in the first episode with Wayne Brady as Barney’s brother. They don’t even think enough of the show to vary sets, that can’t be a good thing.

If they cancel this show but renew crap like The Big Bang Theory I will flip

    @Kevin Horn

In NYC, it isn’t a stretch to assume that the bar has closed and reopened as something else between the two episodes. That’d be one argument.

Plus, if it takes recycling sets to save money and keep the show on the air, I’m all for it. I’d watch HIMYM as a one room play.

  8.  Ranier | March 6, 2008 @ 7:04 pm

besides, did you remember the room of Nathalie? On 1.04?
It’s the same room that they used on the frat party on 2.04 ‘Ted Mosby: Arquitect’

Did anyone else complain about that? No. It’s normal that they re-use old sets.

And if i’m not wrong, i think that the bar on 2.02 ‘The Scorpion and The Troad’ is the same as McLarens, only that they changed it a little bit.

    but…who carees? lol

Interesting, maybe it is a new set:

[Craig] Thomas said that St. Pat’s episode features one of the most elaborate sets the show has ever constructed. “It’s an enormous apartment set that’s up off the ground, and it can move around,” he said.

Hey TBBT is an amazing show not better than HIMYM but at least worth watching. It’s kind of like one of the Best COMEDY SHOWS.
